The new look for the Sierra 1500 offers greater visual distinction among the models and some special equipment packages such as the All Terrain, while also introducing significant lighting technology upgrades. Standard equipment highlights include: new headlamps with GMC signature LED lighting; HID projector-beam headlamps with LED signature; thin-profile LED foglamps; new grille design with model specific appearance; and LED taillamps.

The Sierra All-Terrain package blends capability with unique style to make a statement on or off road. It is available on 4WD double cab and crew cab models with SLE or SLT trims. Power for the Sierra All-Terrain pickup truck is generated by a 5.3L V-8 engine joined to a Hydra-Matic 8L90 eight-speed automatic transmission.

Inside the passenger cabin, a carbon fiber-inspired theme distinguishes the All Terrain from other models and includes the ALL TERRAIN logo on the instrument cluster. A rearview camera system also is standard. The All Terrain also includes the latest connectivity technology, including IntelliLink and new OnStar with 4G LTE and standard built-in Wi-Fi hotspot. Enhanced features for IntelliLink include Text Messaging Alerts for smartphone users with Bluetooth profile (M.A.P.), which reads incoming texts through the vehicle’s speakers, and Siri Eyes Free for iPhone iOS 6 and iOS 7 users to enhance connectivity and convenience.

OnStar with 4G LTE connection provides a mobile hub for drivers and passengers to stay connected. The hotspot is on whenever the vehicle is on and comes with a three-month/three-gigabyte data trial.
