Q7 customers have the option of a gasoline supercharged, fuel-injected 3.0L V6 TFSI gasoline engine, or a powerful yet fuel efficient V6 turbocharged direct injection TDI clean diesel engine. Both prime movers transfer torque through the wheels via an eight-speed Tiptronic automatic. The 3.0T S-line model features a high-output engine variant that boosts horsepower by 53 and lbs-ft of torque by 30.

The driver and passengers will appreciate the sense that the Q7 is sure-footed as well, thanks to the latest-generation quattro® permanent all-wheel drive system with asymetric/dynamic torque distribution in a 40/60 split.
