The legendary Cherokee nameplate was welcomed back into the Jeep model line back in 2014. For 2018, Jeep Cherokee has realigned the trim levels to Latitude, Latitude Plus, Limited, Overland and Trailhawk. As the base trim level, Latitude includes premium standard features such as: 17-inch aluminum wheels, fog lamps and high-intensity discharge (HID) headlamps, roof rails, rear back up camera, bright daylight opening (DLO) moldings as well as body-color mirrors and door handles.

Standard power is provided by a 2.4L Tigershark MultiAir 2 four-cylinder engine. A 3.2L Pentastar V-6 engine is an available option.
